Jeremy Lin's journey is not uncommon, however shocking millions of fans. It is common for plenty of players to go undrafted, get cut and toil in the D-league before getting a chance. However, Jeremy Lin, got his opportunity and knocked it out of the park. with astonishing performances.

Rihanna and Chris Brown

Is Rihanna Going Back to Chris Brown?

It seems that the one person who should hate him, is the one always running back to him. Rihanna seems to be running back in the direction of Chris Brown. Despite his past aggression and woman-beating, Rihanna seems to forgive and forget. According to rumors, it is said that Rihanna is teaming up with Chris, for the remix of her song "Birthday Cake" which she says will "shock the world".

Rihanna also tweeted, " I need somebody #DIRRRTY on my Birthday #CAKE." Speculations are stiring about who this individual could be, most believe it is Brown.

A employee at a Grammy gifting suite told Us Weekly that Brown tried to pick her up with this line, "Can I get your number? I promise I wont beat you!"Brown has denied the report, telling TMZ "That is absurd and absolutely not true, I did not say that nor would I joke about that."

It is rumored that Chris Brown will have a rap verse in the remix of "Birthday Cake"

Super Bowl 2012

The Super Bowl is watched by so many people every year which is why most companies use it as one of their main times to advertisement things such as new products or ideas. Some people enjoy watching the game, but many enjoy the commercials as well. There has been a ton of good advertisements, as well as bad ones. Below are a few I felt were quiet enjoyable.

This commercial is funny and comical even though they do not comment so much on the Camry's reinventions, they do add humor by using unrealistic reinventions in the world which catches the audiences attention.

This commercial is advertising Doritos. It is comical because they are trying to show that Doritos are a prize and reward for doing a good dog trick. However, once he announces he will give a Dorito if the dog does a trick, all the dog owners do the dog tricks instead. It shows that anyone will do anything for a Dorito !!

This was my favorite commercial by far! It is advertising Bud Light in such a funny way, using a dog. The cute dog catches the attention of the audience and is a great tactic! It is comical because the dog keeps going back and fourth getting beer for his owner, and all his friends. Finally, he rolls out a keg because there is so many people he needs to get beer for ! It was a great commercial and defiantly kept viewers in tune!

The commercials are looked forward to by so many viewers, however the half time show is also what most viewers are waiting for ! This year I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the half time show by Madonna. I feel that Madonna is not what the majority of the population listens to anymore and that her show was weird and made me feel awkward.

However, as a New York Jets fan I was extremely excited the New York Giants won the Super Bowl. It was a very exciting game and the New York Giants deserved it !! GO NYG

Iona Women's Soccer

Iona Women's Soccer, I could not imagine not being a part of this amazing team. Iona Women's Soccer has made some drastic changes within the past year, and there is more of that coming (in a good way). Last winter Iona Women's Soccer gained two new coaches, Mike Barroqueiro and Bailey Flood. "A new beginning" to the program was in process, and we were all excited to be part of this. Our intense workouts during spring season, and daily workouts in the summer prepared us for our Fall 2011 season. We accomplished much more than everyone in our conference expected and ended the 2011 season in 5th place with a 4-3-2 in season record. Iona Women's Soccer has gained much more than a few wins in season, the Gaels have become a closer team, on and off the field and the desire to win along with the hard work put in to achieve that goal is tremendous. Workouts this fall consists of 6 AM lifting, and 8 AM practices, however, the hard work and determination will pay off during the Spring 2012 games, as well as the Fall 2012 season !
